Discover more about Tres Trapi

Tres Trapi isn't your typical sandy beach; instead, it's a captivating snorkeling destination where you can swim with sea turtles in their natural habitat. Located on Aruba's northwest coast, just north of the high-rise hotel area, this small cove is easily accessible and offers a memorable experience for nature lovers. The name 'Tres Trapi' comes from the three rustic steps carved into the coastal rock, providing access to the water. While the beach itself is small and rocky, the main draw is the incredible snorkeling. The waters are teeming with marine life, including colorful fish and, most famously, sea turtles. Snorkelers often spot cushion sea stars on the sandy seabed. Tres Trapi is ideal for a morning or late afternoon visit to avoid crowds and have the best chance of swimming with turtles. Remember to respect the marine environment by observing the turtles from a distance and avoiding any disturbance to their habitat.
