Walking
Start at the Alice Springs Telegraph Station. From the station, head south on the Stuart Highway (National Route 87) towards Alice Springs. After about 1.5 kilometers, you'll reach the intersection with Flynn Drive. Turn left onto Flynn Drive. Continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the Mount Gillen trailhead, which is marked and located on the right side of Flynn Drive.

Take the Alice Springs Transit bus service from the Alice Springs Central Business District to the nearest stop on Flynn Drive. The bus route is typically available during the day, so check the current schedule. Once you disembark, walk approximately 500 meters along Flynn Drive to the Mount Gillen trailhead, which will be on your right.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Alice Springs city center and head south on the Stuart Highway (National Route 87). After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto Flynn Drive. Continue cycling along Flynn Drive for about 2 kilometers until you see the Mount Gillen trailhead on your right.
