    From the Alice Springs town center, head north on Todd Street towards the intersection with Gap Road. Turn left onto Gap Road and continue walking for approximately 2.5 kilometers. The Arid Lands Environment Centre will be located on your left at 90 Gap Rd. The walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    From the Alice Springs town center, head to the nearest bus stop on Todd Street. Look for the bus service that goes towards The Gap (Routes 300 or 301). Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop closest to 90 Gap Rd. Walk a short distance along Gap Road, and you will see the Arid Lands Environment Centre on your left. Public bus services are free until 1 July 2025.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available in Alice Springs. A taxi from the town center to the Arid Lands Environment Centre will cost approximately $15-$25, depending on traffic and time of day.
