If you are in the Alice Springs city center, start at the Alice Springs Visitor Information Centre located at 64 Todd Street. From there, head south on Todd Street until you reach the intersection with Gap Road. Turn left onto Gap Road and continue walking for about 1km. As you walk, you'll pass several local shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Stuart Highway (National Route 87). After about 2.5km, you will see a sign for Alice Springs Telegraph Station on your left. Follow the path leading into the reserve. The entrance is located at Telegraph Station Cpa, 87 Herbert Heritage Dr, Stuart NT 0870.

From the Alice Springs city center, you can take the local bus service. Head to the nearest bus stop and catch the bus that goes towards the 'Telegraph Station'. The bus number may vary, so check the local schedule (available at the Visitor Information Centre or online). The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Telegraph Station', and you will see signs directing you to the entrance of the historical reserve.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Alice Springs. Start at the Alice Springs Visitor Information Centre and head south on Todd Street. Once you reach Gap Road, turn left and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Stuart Highway (National Route 87). Continue cycling for about 2.5km, and look for the sign for Alice Springs Telegraph Station on your left. Follow the path leading into the reserve, where you'll find bike racks to secure your bicycle.
