From Atherton Tablelands, head south on Main St towards the Gillies Highway. Continue onto Gillies Highway for about 16 km until you reach the intersection with the Bruce Highway (A1). Turn left onto Bruce Highway and travel for approximately 10 km. Take the exit towards Aloomba (turn left onto Behana Gorge Rd) and follow this road for about 6 km until you reach the Behana Gorge Walking Track car park.

From Atherton Tablelands, take the public bus service (check the local schedules for availability) to Cairns. Once in Cairns, transfer to a bus service heading to Aloomba. You will need to get off at the stop closest to Behana Gorge Rd. From there, prepare for a short walk (approximately 1-2 km) along Behana Gorge Rd to reach the Behana Gorge Walking Track.
