From Atherton, start your journey by heading south on the Main Street (Mango Avenue). Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Kennedy Highway (State Route 1). Turn right onto the Kennedy Highway and continue for approximately 20 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating Mareeba; you will pass through some scenic countryside. Once you reach Mareeba, follow signs for the Mareeba Dimbulah Road. Turn right onto this road and continue for about 14 kilometers until you reach the Emerald Creek Falls turnoff on your right. Follow the road to the parking area at the base of the falls.
