King George Square: The Heart of Brisbane

Getting There

• Bus

  To reach King George Square, start by heading to the nearest bus stop. Look for the bus services that are heading towards the Brisbane City area. If you are near Queen Street Mall, you can catch a bus on Adelaide Street, which is just a short walk from the mall. Board a bus that stops at King George Square, which is a major bus hub. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will find King George Square directly in front of you.

• Train

  If you are near a train station, take a train to Brisbane Central Station. Once you arrive at Central Station, exit the station and head towards the exit that leads you to the corner of Ann Street and Roma Street. From there, walk directly south along Roma Street for about 5-10 minutes. King George Square will be on your right-hand side. It is an easy walk, and you will see the square as you approach.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Brisbane CBD area, simply head towards Roma Street. King George Square is located at 87C Roma St. Depending on your starting point, you can navigate through local streets. Look for signs pointing towards Brisbane City Hall or the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens, as they are near King George Square. The square is a central location and should be easily visible as you approach.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations available in Brisbane. Head towards the city center and follow the bike paths that lead to Roma Street. Once you are on Roma Street, continue riding until you reach King George Square at 87C Roma St. There are bike racks available at the square for you to securely park your bike.
