Streets Beach: Brisbane's Urban Oasis

Getting There

• Public Transport - Bus

  From the Brisbane Central Station, walk to the nearby bus stop at 'Queen St near Edward St'. Catch the bus number 199 or 150 heading towards South Bank. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'South Bank Bus Station'. From there, walk towards Stanley St Plaza. Follow the signs for South Bank Parklands, and you will see Streets Beach ahead.

• Public Transport - Train

  From Brisbane Central Station, take the train on the 'Cleveland Line' or 'Gold Coast Line' and get off at 'South Brisbane Station'. The train ride takes about 5 minutes. Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards the South Bank Parklands. Follow the path leading to Stanley St Plaza, and you will reach Streets Beach shortly.

• Walking

  If you are already in the South Bank area, simply walk towards the riverfront. Head towards the South Bank Parklands and look for the signs directing to Streets Beach. It is an easy 10-15 minute walk from most points in South Bank, and you will enjoy beautiful views of the river along the way.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride to Streets Beach via the Brisbane Riverwalk. Starting from the city, head towards the river and follow the designated bike paths along the riverfront. It takes about 15-20 minutes to cycle to South Bank Parklands where Streets Beach is located. Look for bike racks available near the beach.
