Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are near the South Bank Parklands, head towards Stanley Street Plaza. From the Parklands, walk towards the river, and you will see the large grassy area known as the Cultural Forecourt. Continue walking past the Epicurious Garden where you can see some local produce and flowers. As you exit the park area, take a left onto Stanley Street, and the South Bank Visitor Information Centre will be directly in front of you, just past the large open plaza.

    If you are further away, you can take a bus to the South Bank area. Find the nearest bus stop and catch any bus that is heading towards South Bank. Disembark at the South Bank bus stop, which is located on Grey Street. From there, walk towards the river and follow the path leading to Stanley Street. The Visitor Information Centre is located in Stanley Street Plaza, just a short walk away.

    If you are coming via train, head to the South Brisbane train station, which is the closest station to South Bank.
