Walking
From West End, head east along Boundary Street, which is the main thoroughfare. Continue walking towards the city center. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with Melbourne Street. Cross the road and continue straight onto the Victoria Bridge, which will lead you directly into the Brisbane CBD.

Once you cross the Victoria Bridge, follow the pedestrian path to the left, which will lead you towards South Bank. Walk along the river until you reach the intersection with Grey Street. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to Howard Smith Wharves, located at 5 Boundary St, Brisbane City QLD 4000.
Public Transport (Bus)
Alternatively, you can take a bus from West End to the city. Board bus number 199 or 196 from a nearby bus stop on Boundary Street. The bus will take you to the Queen Street Bus Station in the CBD. From there, exit the station and walk towards the river. Follow the riverbank until you reach Howard Smith Wharves. The bus fare is approximately AUD 3-5, depending on the time of day.
Public Transport (CityCat Ferry)
You may also opt for the CityCat ferry service. Head to the nearest ferry terminal, which is located at the South Bank Parklands. Board a CityCat ferry heading towards the Northshore Hamilton route. Disembark at the Howard Smith Wharves stop. The ferry ride offers scenic views of the Brisbane River and costs around AUD 5-7.
