Driving
From Byron Bay, drive south on Broken Head Road. Approximately 2km south of Suffolk Park, turn left onto Broken Head Reserve Road. Continue 3km to the end, where you'll find the picnic area and Broken Head Beach. Parking is available within the reserve, with fees of $4 per vehicle per hour. Tap and pay card or phone payments are accepted at pay machines. Alternatively, cash and credit cards are accepted at the Byron Bay Office. Keep in mind that free parking spots outside the reserve are limited and fill up quickly.
Public Transport
To reach Broken Head Nature Reserve via public transport, take a bus from Byron Bay to Suffolk Park. From Suffolk Park, it's approximately a 2km walk or taxi ride to the reserve's entrance on Broken Head Reserve Road. Bus fares from Byron Bay to Suffolk Park typically cost around $3-$5. A short taxi ride from Suffolk Park to the reserve entrance will cost approximately $15-$20.
