Continue walking along the beachfront until you reach the Byron Bay Lighthouse Road. Follow this road, which will eventually lead you to the Cape Byron Headland. As you approach the headland, you will see signs directing you to the Historical Jetty Engine. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the Visitor Information Centre.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Byron Bay. Start from the town center and head towards the beachfront. Follow the beachfront path along Main Beach. Continue on the bike path towards the Byron Bay Lighthouse Road. You will find bike lanes on this route, making it easy to navigate. Keep an eye out for signs leading to the Historical Jetty Engine. This bike ride should take approximately 15 minutes, depending on your speed.
Public Transport
While there is no direct public transport to the Historical Jetty Engine, you can take a local bus from the Byron Bay bus terminal. Take the bus towards Cape Byron or the Lighthouse – these buses frequently run throughout the day. Get off at the stop nearest to the Byron Bay Lighthouse Road.
