From Cairns City, the Translink bus route 110 operates regularly to Palm Cove. The journey takes approximately 40-50 minutes. A single adult fare costs around $5 - $7 AUD. Alight at the Cedar Rd at Warren Street stop, a short walk from the Esplanade.

Driving
From Cairns, take the Captain Cook Highway north towards Palm Cove. The drive is approximately 27 kilometers and takes around 30 minutes. Parking is available along Williams Esplanade, but it can be limited, especially during peak season. There are also car parks at the northern end of the beach. Parking is generally free. Off-street parking is available on Triton Street for a donation.
