Walking
If you are in the Cairns city center, start by heading towards the Esplanade. Walk along the Esplanade towards the north. You will pass various shops and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Abbott Street. Turn left onto Abbott Street and continue walking until you reach the Cairns Esplanade Boardwalk. Follow the boardwalk along the coast, enjoying the views of the ocean. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the Cairns Beach Lookout, which is located near the intersection of the boardwalk and the beach area.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Cairns Central Station, take the local bus service towards the northern beaches. You can catch the bus at the bus stop located outside the station. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next available bus. You will want to get off at the bus stop nearest to the Cairns Esplanade. From there, follow the directions for walking along the Esplanade as described above to reach the Cairns Beach Lookout.

Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bicycle, you can rent one from various rental shops located in Cairns. Once you have your bike, head towards the Esplanade and follow the same route as walking. The bike path runs parallel to the boardwalk and provides a scenic ride. Continue along the Esplanade until you reach the Cairns Beach Lookout, which is easily accessible from the bike path.
