If you are in the Cairns Central Shopping Centre, exit the building and head north on McLeod Street towards the Esplanade. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with the Esplanade. Turn right onto the Esplanade and walk for another 200 meters. You will find the Cairns Esplanade on your left.

Locate the nearest bus stop, which may be Cairns Central or any other nearby stop. Check the local bus schedule and board a bus heading towards the Esplanade. Ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach the stop for the Esplanade. After getting off, walk a short distance to the waterfront where you will find the Cairns Esplanade.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Cairns Central area and head towards the Esplanade via McLeod Street. Once you reach the Esplanade, follow the path along the waterfront. There are dedicated cycling lanes, and you will enjoy a scenic ride of about 1 kilometer that takes you directly to the Cairns Esplanade.
