To get to Kuranda Village, start your journey at the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway station located at 6 Skyrail Dr, Smithfield, QLD 4878. You can take a bus or taxi from Cairns city center to reach the Skyrail station. Once at the station, purchase your tickets for the Skyrail, and enjoy the breathtaking views as you glide over the rainforest. The cableway ride lasts around 7.5 kilometers and takes approximately 1.5 hours to reach Kuranda Village. You will have the opportunity to stop at two mid-stations for panoramic views and a chance to explore the rainforest.

Alternatively, you can take the Kuranda Scenic Railway. Head to the Cairns Railway Station located at 1 Grafton St, Cairns City QLD 4870. You can walk from the city center or take a taxi. Purchase your tickets for the scenic railway and board the train for a picturesque journey through the landscape. The train ride takes approximately 1.5 hours and includes stunning views of waterfalls and the surrounding rainforest. The train will arrive directly in Kuranda Village, where you can explore the markets and attractions.
