    From Cairns city center, head to the Cairns Central bus station located at 51 Abbott St. Look for the Skyrail or Kuranda Scenic Railway bus services. Purchase a ticket for the bus that goes to Kuranda. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Kuranda, the Rainforestation Nature Park is located at 1030 Kennedy Hwy, just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head south on Therwine St, then turn right onto Kennedy Hwy, and you will find the park on your left.

  • Skyrail

    Make your way to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway station located at 6 Skyrail Drive, Smithfield, which is about 15 minutes by taxi from Cairns city center. Purchase a ticket for the Skyrail, which will take you over the rainforest to Kuranda. Once you arrive at the Kuranda station, follow the signs to the village center. The Rainforestation Nature Park is a short 15-minute walk. Head south on the main road (facing away from the station) until you reach Kennedy Hwy, then turn left and walk for a few minutes until you see the park on your right.

  • Kuranda Scenic Railway

    Travel to the Kuranda Scenic Railway station located at 1 Bunda St, Cairns. You can reach the station by taxi or by walking if you are nearby. Purchase your ticket for the train which will take you to Kuranda, a journey of approximately 1.5 hours through beautiful landscapes. Once you arrive in Kuranda, the Rainforestation Nature Park is a 20-minute walk from the train station. Exit the station, head south on the main road, then turn right onto Kennedy Hwy. Walk for about 1 kilometer, and you will find the park on your left.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Cairns city center to Rainforestation Nature Park. This option is convenient and takes about 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Simply tell the driver to take you to 1030 Kennedy Hwy in Kuranda. This is the quickest way to reach the park directly without any transfers.
