Bus
From Cairns Central Station, walk to the nearby bus stop located on Lake Street, near the Cairns Bus Terminal. Take the Sunbus route 110 towards Smithfield. The bus will take approximately 30 minutes to reach the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. You should get off at the 'Skyrail' bus stop which is a short walk from the entrance.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you're looking for a more direct option, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare service like Uber. Simply request a ride to 'Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, 6 Skyrail Dr, Smithfield'. The drive will take around 20 minutes from Cairns city center, depending on traffic.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Cairns. Head north along the Captain Cook Highway (Highway 1); it’s about a 15 km ride to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Follow the designated bike paths and be cautious of traffic. There are bike racks available at the Skyrail entrance.
