Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From the Cairns Central Station, catch Bus Route 110 towards Smithfield. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop labeled 'Redlynch Village'. From there, walk along the main road, Redlynch Road, heading northeast. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach The Rocks Reserve, which will be on your left along The Rocks Rd.

  • Bicycle

    If you have a bicycle, start from the Cairns Esplanade and ride north along the Esplanade until you reach the intersection with Abbott Street. Turn left onto Abbott Street and continue until you reach the intersection with McLeod Street. Turn right and continue straight until you hit the main road, Redlynch Road. Follow Redlynch Road for about 6 km, and The Rocks Reserve will be on your left on The Rocks Rd.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start from the Cairns Esplanade and head towards the northern end, continuing along the waterfront until you reach the intersection with Aplin Street. Turn left onto Aplin Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Spence Street. Turn right and follow Spence Street until it becomes Redlynch Road. Keep walking for approximately 7 km, and you will find The Rocks Reserve on your left at The Rocks Rd.
