Staff was so attentive: they watched us closely for any emergency when we were snorkeling, they talked our health issues through for security and took precautionary measures, the marine biologists among them provided us with fascinating information about the reef whenever possible, they offered enough vegan food options and they took personal care that our wishes were catered to. Once on the pontoon, the whole platform was like a station learning: first glassboat submarine with biologist, next glassboat ride with biologist, next snorkeling, next food, next information booth with biologist telling about corals, next underground pathway, next ... only a helicopter ride would actually cost extra. All the rest was included and overwhelmingly much. ;)

Don't bother with lunch option.

The crossing was very rough but you can't change the weather unfortunately. I had the lunch option. I was left a little disappointed. It was mainly an Asian cuisine given 95% of passengers were Chinese. Good if you like plain rice and curry slop. Youd think there'd be a drink included for the price. There is cafe on Island and take out. Snorkelling was good if you know where to go. I ventured further out where eventually the reef existed. I saw lots of colourful fish and corals and 2 turtles.

I have done a few different trips out to the Great Barrier Reef, and Reef Adventures is definitely one of my favourites 😍 the full day trip was amazing with clear view to the coral. The crew were awesome and very informative 👏. I really liked having our own meal packs, for me I normally I don't get to eat much on other boats as I'm normally last back on the boat which means most people have started seconds before I start. This was the first trip I actually got to eat properly, thanks guys. If you've never been and not sure how you will go in the boat just take a garlic tablet and enjoy a day of snorkeling with the 2 great locations. I'll definitely be back 😀.
