Getting There

• Bus

  From the Canberra city center, head to the bus stop located at the Canberra Centre (Bunda Street). Take the ACTION bus route 3, which travels towards Yarralumla. Ride the bus for about 20-25 minutes until you reach the stop at Lady Denman Drive. Once you disembark, walk for approximately 5 minutes along Lady Denman Drive, following the signs to National Zoo & Aquarium. The entrance will be on your left.

• Bike

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services available in Canberra. Start from the city center and head southwest towards Yarralumla, following the bike paths along the lake. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes. As you approach Lady Denman Drive, look for bike lanes that lead directly to the National Zoo & Aquarium. There is bike parking available at the entrance.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy walking, start from the Parliament House, which is a landmark in Canberra. From Parliament House, head south on State Circle, then turn left onto Lady Denman Drive. Continue walking down Lady Denman Drive for approximately 30-35 minutes. The National Zoo & Aquarium will be on your right. This route offers beautiful views of the surrounding gardens and lake.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  You can also opt for a taxi or rideshare service like Uber. Simply request a ride from your current location to '999 Lady Denman Drive, Yarralumla.' The ride typically takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. This option is convenient if you're traveling with a group or have limited mobility.
