Turn right at this intersection and walk towards the iconic Australian War Memorial. The War Memorial is approximately a 15-minute walk from the National Gallery, and you will pass beautiful gardens along the way.

After visiting the Australian War Memorial, head back towards Parkes Place and turn left to retrace your steps. Continue walking until you reach the National Library of Australia. This building is situated on the banks of the Lake Burley Griffin, and it's a wonderful place to explore. This leg of the walk should take about 20 minutes.
