Car
If you are driving from your accommodation in Cape Tribulation, head south on Cape Tribulation Road. Continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Daintree River Ferry. Take the ferry across the river, which costs around AUD 30 for a vehicle. After crossing, continue on the main road (Mason's Road) for about 16 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating the CREB Track on your left. There is a small parking area at the start of the track.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in this remote area, but you can take a shuttle service from Cape Tribulation to the Daintree River Ferry. You can find shuttle services from local tour operators. Once you reach the ferry, you will need to take a taxi or arrange a private transport service to take you to the CREB Track trailhead, which is about 16 kilometers from the ferry crossing. Ensure to confirm the fare with the driver.
Walking from Cape Tribulation
For the adventurous, walking from Cape Tribulation to the CREB Track is possible but will take several hours. Start by heading south on Cape Tribulation Road. After about 10 kilometers, you will reach the Daintree River Ferry. From there, you can continue walking along Mason's Road for another 16 kilometers to reach the turnoff for the CREB Track. Be prepared for a long trek and ensure you have sufficient supplies and water, as this route is not commonly walked by tourists.
