Car
If you are driving from the Cape Tribulation area, head south on the Cape Tribulation Road. Continue for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Daintree River. Keep following the road as it curves and becomes Thornton Beach Road. After about 5 minutes, you will see signs for Thornton Beach. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the beach, which will be on your left.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a bus from the Cape Tribulation bus stop. Buses typically run every hour, so check the timetable. Request to get off at the Thornton Beach stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the beach entrance which is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Just follow the signs leading to the beach area.
