Car
If you're driving from the heart of Central Coast, take the Pacific Motorway (M1) towards Sydney. Exit at Wyong Road and follow the signs towards Wamberal. Once on Wyong Road, continue until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Wamberal Road. Follow Wamberal Road until you get to the junction with Ocean View Drive. From there, take a left onto Ocean View Drive and continue until you reach the lagoon area. There is parking available along the road near the reserve.

For public transportation, start by taking a train from your nearest station on the Central Coast Line towards Sydney. Get off at Gosford Station. From Gosford, take bus number 47 towards Wamberal. This bus will take you to Wamberal Beach, from where you can walk to the Wamberal Lagoon Nature Reserve. The walk from the bus stop to the reserve is approximately 15 minutes. Ensure to check the local bus schedules for the most current times, as they may vary.

If you are already in Wamberal, you can easily walk to the Wamberal Lagoon Nature Reserve. Start at the main beach area and head towards the lagoon by following the pathways that lead along the water. The reserve is a short walk from the beach, approximately 10 minutes on foot.
