From Melbourne, take the M1 highway towards Geelong. After approximately 70 kilometers, take the exit onto the A1 towards Colac and continue for about 30 kilometers. Then, take the exit for the B100 towards Warrnambool and follow this road for around 180 kilometers until you reach the town of Port Welshpool. From Port Welshpool, take the C445 towards Wilsons Promontory National Park. Follow the signs to Squeaky Beach, which is about a 30-minute drive from the park entrance. There is a parking area at the beach, but it may incur a parking fee of around AUD 10 for the day.

To reach Squeaky Beach using public transportation, start at Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. Take a V/Line train towards Traralgon.
