From Port Douglas, follow the signs to Mossman and take Mossman-Daintree Road. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will reach the Daintree River. To cross the river, you will need to take the Daintree River Ferry, which costs approximately AUD 30 for a car and passengers. Once you cross the river, continue on the Daintree Road for about 20 kilometers until you arrive in Daintree QLD, specifically at Stewart St.

For those using public transport, you can take a bus from Cairns to Port Douglas. The bus service is operated by SunPalm Transport and runs several times a day. The fare is approximately AUD 40 one way. Once in Port Douglas, you will need to take a taxi or shuttle service to reach the Daintree River Ferry. After crossing the Daintree River, you may need to hire a taxi or a shuttle to take you to Daintree QLD on Stewart St, as public transport options are sparse in this area.
