Picnic Point Parklands: Toowoomba's Scenic Jewel

Perched on the edge of the Great Dividing Range in Rangeville, Toowoomba, Picnic Point Parklands is a 65-hectare heritage-listed park offering stunning panoramic views and a variety of recreational activities. Established in 1885, the park has evolved into a beloved destination for locals and tourists seeking natural beauty and relaxation. Visitors are greeted by an avenue of mature hoop pines and South Queensland kauri pines, leading to manicured lawns and gardens. The iconic Picnic Point Lookout provides breathtaking views eastward to Table Top Mountain and the Lockyer Valley; at night, the glow of Brisbane city lights can be seen. A waterfall, constructed in 1965, adds to the park's tranquil atmosphere and is a popular spot for wedding ceremonies.
