Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Cairns City. From the Captain Cook Highway (A1), take the exit toward Cairns and follow the signs to the city center. Once in Cairns, turn onto Grafton Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Hartley Street. The Tourism Tropical North Queensland office is located at Level 1, Ports North Building, at the corner of Grafton and Hartley Streets. There is parking available nearby, but be mindful that parking fees may apply.

  For those using public transportation, take a bus to Cairns City. The TransLink bus services operate frequently from various locations in Far North Queensland. Look for routes that terminate at Cairns City, such as the 110 or 111. Once you arrive at the Cairns Central Station, it’s a short walk to the Tourism Tropical North Queensland office. Head west on McLeod Street, turn right onto Grafton Street, and walk until you reach the intersection with Hartley Street. The office is located in the Ports North Building on the corner.
