If you are in the Cairns Esplanade area, start by heading north along the Esplanade towards Aplin Street. Continue walking until you reach Aplin Street, then turn left. Walk straight until you reach Lake Street, where you will take a right turn. The Cairns Museum will be on your right at 93/105 Lake St. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 kilometers, which should take around 15-20 minutes.

To reach the Cairns Museum via public transport, find the nearest bus stop. You can take Bus Route 123 or 124 from the Cairns Central Station. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at Lake Street near the intersection with Aplin Street. From there, walk south on Lake Street for a short distance and the Cairns Museum will be on your left at 93/105 Lake St. The bus journey takes about 10-15 minutes.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike rental services available in the city. Start from the Esplanade and follow the cycle path north. When you reach Aplin Street, turn left and continue until you reach Lake Street. Turn right on Lake Street and the Cairns Museum will be on your right at 93/105 Lake St. The cycling distance is about 1.5 kilometers and should take around 10 minutes.
