If you're traveling by car, start from Victor Harbor. Head west on Adelaide Road (B37) towards Encounter Bay. Continue on B37 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Main South Road (A13). Turn right onto Main South Road and continue for approximately 10 kilometers. You will then see the signs for Carrickalinga. Turn left onto Carrickalinga Road, which will lead you directly into the township. Follow the road to the end where you will find parking areas near the beach.

For those using public transport, take the bus from Adelaide to Victor Harbor. The bus services are operated by the Adelaide Metro, and you can catch a bus from the Adelaide Central Bus Station. The journey takes around 2 hours and tickets cost approximately AUD 10-15 one-way. Once you arrive in Victor Harbor, you can catch a local bus (Route 781) to Carrickalinga. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes and costs around AUD 3.50.
