Discover more about Harvest the Fleurieu

Harvest the Fleurieu offers a delightful agritourism experience in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula. This family-owned and operated establishment combines a working strawberry farm with a bustling market hall and cozy cafe. In 2012, the Sherry family purchased land in Mount Compass, opening their strawberry patch to the public and quickly becoming a local favorite. In 2016, they expanded with a market hall and café, showcasing fresh produce and artisanal goods from across South Australia. Visitors can pick their own strawberries (PYO) during the strawberry season, typically from November to March. The farm cultivates other berries like blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries, along with vegetables. Beyond strawberry picking, the market hall offers a range of local products, including fresh produce, baked goods, and gourmet treats. The café serves house-made pastries, pies, pasties, and ice cream, with gluten-free options available. There's also a sandpit for children. Harvest the Fleurieu is a popular destination for families, offering a blend of outdoor fun and local flavors.
