Car
If you are driving from Fraser Island, first take a ferry from Kingfisher Bay or River Heads to the mainland. From River Heads, follow the signs to Maryborough-Hervey Bay Road. Continue on this road for approximately 30 minutes until you reach Hervey Bay. Once in Hervey Bay, turn onto Boat Harbour Drive, then take a left onto Zephyr Street. The Hervey Bay Historical Village & Museum will be on your left at 13 Zephyr St, Scarness QLD 4655.
Public Transportation
To reach the Hervey Bay Historical Village & Museum by public transport from Fraser Island, first take a ferry from Kingfisher Bay or River Heads. From River Heads, catch a bus towards Hervey Bay. Make sure to check the local bus schedules for the best route, as there may be limited service. Once you arrive in Hervey Bay, get off at the closest bus stop to Boat Harbour Drive. From there, walk along Boat Harbour Drive, then turn onto Zephyr Street; the museum is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus stop at 13 Zephyr St, Scarness QLD 4655.
