    The most common way to access Mitchell River National Park is by car. From Bairnsdale, head west on Main Street/Princes Highway/A1, then turn right onto Bairnsdale-Dargo Road/C601. Follow this road for approximately 42 kilometers. To reach the Den of Nargun picnic area, turn right onto Wallers Road and follow it to the end. There is no fee to enter the park. Parking is available at the Den of Nargun picnic area.
