The trail begins near the Brambuk National Park & Cultural Centre, offering an opportunity to explore Aboriginal culture before embarking on the hike. The path meanders along Fyans Creek before a steady climb through messmate forest and native pines begins. As you ascend, the views expand, revealing the Fyans Valley and beyond. The final 50 meters involve a rocky scramble to the top, where panoramic views await. From the summit, hikers are treated to views of Lake Fyans to the east and Fyans Valley. The up-ended bedding of The Terraces can be seen from Boronia Peak. The rugged peaks of the Wonderland Range are also visible.
