    From any location in High Country, head northwest on the Hume Highway (M31) towards Albury. Continue on the Hume Highway for approximately 300 kilometers. Take the exit towards Sturt Highway (A20) and continue for about 250 kilometers until you reach the town of Port Augusta. From Port Augusta, follow signs for the Stuart Highway (A87) north towards Alice Springs. The drive from Port Augusta to Alice Springs will take approximately 12 hours. Make sure to stop for fuel and refreshments along the way, as this is a long stretch of road. Upon reaching Alice Springs, take Larapinta Drive, and follow it for about 10 kilometers to arrive at Alice Springs Desert Park.
