Getting There

  • Car

    From Wollongong, take the M1 Princes Motorway towards Sydney. After about 30 km, take the exit for the Illawarra Highway (B73) towards Macquarie Pass. Continue for approximately 15 km until you reach the town of Robertson. In Robertson, turn onto Hoddle Street and follow it for about 3 km. Carrington Falls is located within Budderoo National Park, and you will find a picnic area and car park at the end of Hoddle Street. There is no entry fee for the park.

  • Public Transport

    Take a train from Wollongong Station to Robertson Station. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Robertson Station, you will need to take a taxi, as there is no direct public transport to Carrington Falls. Taxi services might cost around AUD 20-30 depending on demand and time of day. Ask the driver to take you to Carrington Falls picnic area located at 44-48 Hoddle Street, Budderoo.

  • Walking

    If you are in Robertson and prefer to walk, from the town center, head south on Hoddle Street. It's about a 3 km walk to Carrington Falls, which should take approximately 40-50 minutes. The path is mostly flat but be aware that it may not be suitable for everyone.
