Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Wollongong city center. From there, follow the signs for 'Wollongong Harbour' or 'Wollongong Breakwater'. Take Crown Street towards the coast and continue onto Cliff Road. Turn left onto Endeavour Drive, which will lead you directly to the Breakwater area. There is limited parking available near the lighthouse, so arrive early to secure a spot.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  For those using public transportation, catch a bus heading to Wollongong from surrounding areas. Routes such as the 55, 56, or 57 will take you to Wollongong. Once you arrive at the Wollongong Central bus interchange, walk towards Crown Street and follow the same route as for cars: take Crown Street towards the coast and continue onto Cliff Road. This walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Wollongong city center, you can easily walk to the lighthouse. From the Wollongong Town Hall, head down Burelli Street towards the beach. Once you reach the water, turn left onto Cliff Road. Continue walking along Cliff Road until you reach the Breakwater. The walk is scenic and takes about 25-30 minutes.

• Bike

  Biking is another great option. If you have a bike, you can cycle along the coastal path from the city center. Follow the coastal path signs towards the Breakwater. The distance is about 2.5 kilometers and is relatively flat, making it an easy ride. There are bike racks available near the lighthouse.
