Walking
If you are starting from Kingscote, head southeast on Commercial Street toward the Kingscote Jetty. Follow the path along the waterfront until you reach the Kingscote Airport. From there, continue walking southeast on the main road, which will eventually lead you towards the southern coast of Kangaroo Island. After approximately 21 km, you will reach a junction. Turn left onto Pennington Bay Road. Continue on Pennington Bay Road for about 4.5 km until you arrive at Pennington Bay Beach Access Path, located on your right.

Starting from the town of American River, head south towards the American River Road. Follow this road as it turns into the Main South Road. Continue straight on Main South Road for about 12 km. At the T-junction, turn left onto Pennington Bay Road. Continue along Pennington Bay Road for about 4 km, and you will find the access path on your left.
