If you are driving to Hainsworth Hut, start by entering Kosciuszko National Park through the main entrance at Jindabyne. Follow the Kosciuszko Road (B400) towards Thredbo. After approximately 30 km, turn left onto the Alpine Way (B72) towards Khancoban. Continue on the Alpine Way for about 15 km until you reach the turn-off to Long Plain Road. Turn onto Long Plain Road and follow it for several kilometers. Hainsworth Hut will be located on the left side of the road. Parking is available near the hut.
