If you are traveling by car, head towards the Tumut area in Kosciuszko National Park. From the township of Talbingo, drive on the Tumut-Talbingo Road (B200) for approximately 12 km. Look for signs for Black Perry Lookout, which will direct you to the right turn onto the Black Perry Road. Continue on Black Perry Road for about 5 km until you reach the lookout parking area. The lookout is well signposted, and you will find a small parking area that leads to the lookout trail.

Public Transportation + Walking
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Tumut to Talbingo. Check the local bus schedule for departure times. Once you arrive in Talbingo, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Black Perry Lookout, as public transport does not go directly to the lookout. The taxi ride will take about 15-20 minutes. After arriving at the parking area, you can walk to the lookout which is a short and easy trail. Make sure to check taxi availability in advance, as they may not always be readily available.
