If you are driving to Four Mile Hut walk, start from the nearest major town, Jindabyne. Head north on the Kosciuszko Road (B72) for about 35 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Alpine Way (B72). Continue on the Alpine Way for approximately 22 kilometers until you reach the Cabramurra turnoff. Follow the signs to Cabramurra, which is about 10 kilometers away. Once in Cabramurra, follow the local road leading to the Four Mile Hut walk. The parking area is close to the trailhead.

Once you arrive in Cabramurra, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Four Mile Hut walk trailhead. The walk from Cabramurra to the trailhead is approximately 3 kilometers along local roads.
