Getting There

• Tram

  If you are starting from the Melbourne CBD, head to the nearest tram stop on Collins Street and catch the Route 1 tram towards South Melbourne Beach. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Cecil Street'. From the tram stop, walk south on Cecil Street until you reach Danks Street. Turn left (east) on Danks Street and continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach the corner of Danks Street and Mills Street, where Albert Park Play Space is located.

• Bus

  From Flinders Street Station, walk to the nearby bus stop at 'Flinders Street/Elizabeth Street'. Catch the Route 234 bus towards 'South Melbourne' and ride for about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Mills Street/Danks Street'. Once you disembark, walk towards the corner of Danks Street and Mills Street, which is where Albert Park Play Space is situated.

• Walking

  If you are already in Albert Park, you can walk to Albert Park Play Space easily. From Albert Park Lake, head south towards Albert Road and turn left. Walk along Albert Road until you reach the intersection with Mills Street. Turn right on Mills Street and continue walking until you reach the corner of Mills Street and Danks Street, where you will find the play space.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations in Melbourne. Head towards Albert Park by following the bike paths along St Kilda Road. Once you reach the intersection with Albert Road, turn left and continue cycling until you reach Danks Street. Turn right onto Danks Street and you will find Albert Park Play Space at the corner of Danks Street and Mills Street.
