Getting there

Tram

If you are near the Melbourne CBD, head to the nearest tram stop and catch tram number 48 or 75. Both trams will take you towards the Domain Interchange. After about 10-15 minutes, get off at the 'Domain Rd / Albert Rd' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Fitzroy Gardens. Just walk down Albert Road until you reach Wellington Parade, then turn left. Fitzroy Gardens will be on your right.

Bus

Locate a bus stop near you that services the 246 bus route. Board the 246 bus towards Elsternwick. The bus will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the 'Wellington Parade / Clarendon St' stop. From there, walk along Wellington Parade for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Fitzroy Gardens, which will be on your left.

Walking

If you are staying in or around East Melbourne, Fitzroy Gardens is easily accessible by foot. Simply walk towards Wellington Parade. Once you reach the gardens, you can enter through any of the entrances located along the parade. Enjoy the scenic walk as you approach this beautiful historical landmark.

Bicycle
