Train
Start your journey at Flinders Street Station in Melbourne. Take the Puffing Billy train from Belgrave Station, which is accessible via train services from Flinders Street. Once you arrive at Belgrave Station, follow the signs to the Puffing Billy platform and board the train heading towards Gembrook. The scenic ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Emerald Station, which is a short walk from the Emerald Lake Model Railway.

From Melbourne, head to Southern Cross Station and catch a train to Belgrave. Once you arrive at Belgrave Station, transfer to Bus Route 694 (Emerald to Beaconsfield) which will take you directly to the Emerald Lake area. Get off at the closest bus stop to Emerald Lake Rd and walk the remaining distance to the Emerald Lake Model Railway.

From Flinders Street Station, take a train to Belgrave Station. After disembarking, walk approximately 15 minutes to Emerald Lake Model Railway by heading north on Belgrave-Gembrook Rd, then turning left onto Emerald Lake Rd. Follow the road until you reach your destination.
