Tram
If you are in the Melbourne CBD, head to the nearest tram stop. Take any tram heading towards Southbank or the 'Southbank' tram route (routes 1, 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67, 72). Ride until you reach the 'Southbank' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the Yarra River, and you will find the Southbank Promenade along the riverbank.
Train
Make your way to Flinders Street Station, a central hub for trains. From there, take a train on the Sandringham line. Get off at the 'South Yarra' station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the river, heading east. You can follow the path along the Yarra River until you reach the Southbank Promenade.
Bus
Find a nearby bus stop and take a bus that heads towards the Southbank area. You can check the local bus schedule for routes such as 220, 234, or 625. Alight at the 'Southbank' bus stop. After getting off, walk towards the river, and you will see the Southbank Promenade.
Walking
If you are already near the Yarra River or in the CBD, you can simply walk to Southbank Promenade. Head towards the river from your current location, and follow the pedestrian paths along the waterfront. The Promenade is a scenic area featuring cafes, shops, and stunning views of the Melbourne skyline.
Bike
If you're interested in biking, rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations around Melbourne. Follow the bike paths towards the Yarra River. There are dedicated bike lanes that will lead you directly to the Southbank Promenade. Just be cautious of pedestrians as you enjoy the ride.
