If you are starting from the CBD (Central Business District), head to the nearest tram stop and catch tram number 75 or 48. Both trams will take you east towards East Melbourne. Get off at the stop named 'Wellington Parade/Albert Street.' From there, walk east along Wellington Parade for about 5 minutes until you reach The Conservatory at 298 Wellington Parade.
Train
Take a train from Flinders Street Station on the Sandringham Line, and get off at Richmond Station. From Richmond Station, exit and walk east along Bridge Road until you reach the intersection with Wellington Parade. Turn left and walk north along Wellington Parade for about 15 minutes. The Conservatory will be on your right at 298 Wellington Parade.
Bus
Board a bus from the city that goes towards East Melbourne, such as the route 200 or 207. Get off at the stop 'Wellington Parade at Albert Street.' From the bus stop, walk east along Wellington Parade for about 5 minutes to reach The Conservatory located at 298 Wellington Parade.
Walking
If you are close to Fitzroy Gardens, simply walk towards the southern edge of the gardens. The Conservatory is located at the eastern end of the gardens on Wellington Parade. It is about a 10-minute walk from the main entrance of the gardens.
