Tram
From the Melbourne CBD, head to the nearest tram stop on Collins Street. Take the Route 70 or 75 tram towards Waterfront City/Docklands. Stay on the tram for about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Docklands' stop. Once you disembark, walk straight along Harbour Esplanade, and you will reach the Victoria Harbour Promenade in just a few minutes.
Train
Make your way to Southern Cross Station in the CBD. From there, take the train on the Werribee or Williamstown line. Get off at the 'North Melbourne' station. From North Melbourne Station, you can either take a tram (Route 57 towards Flinders Street) to the 'Docklands' stop or walk approximately 25 minutes along the scenic routes through the city, heading towards the waterfront.
Bus
Find a bus stop near you that services routes to Docklands. For example, you can take the bus route 220 from the CBD to Docklands. Alight at 'Harbour Town' bus stop. After getting off, walk towards the water, and you'll find the Victoria Harbour Promenade within a short distance.
Walking
If you are nearby, you can walk to Victoria Harbour Promenade from the CBD. Start at the corner of Collins and Spencer Streets, head towards the waterfront, and follow the path along the Yarra River. It’s about a 20-30 minute walk, which will take you through some beautiful parts of Docklands, leading you right to the promenade.
