If you are currently in Fitzroy, head south on Brunswick Street towards Johnston Street. Turn right onto Johnston Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Victoria Parade. Cross Victoria Parade and continue straight onto Wellington Parade. The Fairies Tree is located at 230-298 Wellington Parade, East Melbourne, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from Fitzroy.
Public Transport - Tram
From Fitzroy, walk to the nearest tram stop on Smith Street (Stop 19) and take the Route 86 tram towards Waterfront City. Alight at Stop 14 - Victoria Parade / Nicholson Street. From there, walk east along Victoria Parade until you reach the intersection with Wellington Parade. Turn left onto Wellington Parade and The Fairies Tree will be on your right. The tram ride will take about 10 minutes, and the walk from the tram stop to The Fairies Tree is around 5 minutes.
Public Transport - Bus
From Fitzroy, walk to the nearest bus stop on Brunswick Street (Stop 9) and take the Route 200 or 207 bus towards Eastern Freeway. Alight at the stop at Wellington Parade / Victoria Parade. From there, walk south along Wellington Parade and The Fairies Tree will be located at 230-298 Wellington Parade, East Melbourne. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes, and it’s a short walk of about 3 minutes to reach The Fairies Tree.
