If you are driving from the Ningaloo Reef area, start by heading south on the North West Coastal Highway (National Route 1). Continue on this highway for approximately 900 kilometers until you reach the city of Geelong. From Geelong, take the exit onto the Princes Highway (M1) toward Melbourne.
